Barbara Richardson is the mother of six adult children, grandmother of thirteen, and great-grandmother of two…all of whom are great motivators for her work for peace. Barbara has been a member of Pax Christi since 1983. She has served as the coordinator of her local chapter, Pax Christi Palm Beach, and was a member of the Pax Christi USA’s national staff for six years during which time she served as Assistant Local/Regional Coordinator and later as the Local/Regional Coordinator.
Barbara has a very gentle demeanor but she also has the heart of a lion (She really is a Leo!) and on her 70th birthday, she celebrated by parasailing – the above pictures offer proof! She is currently toying with the idea of sky-diving on her 75th! Barbara is an avid reader, loves crossword puzzles and relishes the company of her large family and many friends.
Barbara currently serves as the Coordinator of Pax Christi Florida – a position she has held for the past two years. Pax Christi Florida is grateful for the service of this deeply passionate and faith-filled woman.
