I have been a member of Pax Christi for more than twenty years. I am retired after having taught at various levels including elementary and high school, ending with fifteen years at Saint Leo University. I have a B.S. from U. of Dayton (education), M.A. from Ohio State (French), M.S. from Florida State (sociology), and Ph.D. from U.S.F. (education). My husband Frank and I did mission work in Mexico (1993-95), and volunteer work in Washington, D.C. (1997-98) and Appalachia (2004-2005). We take part yearly in the SOA Watch protest, as well as on the streets of St. Petersburg against the death penalty. I have written twenty books and dozens of articles, as well as numerous letters to local and national newspapers and magazines. We are members of Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon. I am happy to serve on the state council of Pax Christi.
