Global Day of Action for a Fossil Fuel Treaty

The Laudatory Si’ Movement has declared September 21 the “Day of action to endorse the Fossil Fuel Non Proliferation Treaty (FFNPT)”. During the event, an online webinar will be organized to explain and reflect on the phasing out of fossil fuels.

This announcement was launched in line with the presentation of the 2024 Season of Creation with the theme “To hope and act with Creation”. The annual Christian celebration is convened each year to pray and respond to the cry of Creation, between September 1st, the Feast of Creation, and October 4th, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
