February 6-7, 2024 Pax Christi Florida members participated with the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops in the annual “Catholic Days at the Capitol” on Feb. 6 and 7. Members joined with delegations from their respective dioceses and met with legislators on several bills including HB 1/Restricting Minors’ Access to Pornography, increased funding to support Florida’s Prison System’s Strategic Reform, SB 7016 on Access to Healthcare, and SB 476/HB 651 on Civil Liability for the wrongful death of an unborn child.
